This month's technical meeting will feature John Deunay with JDL Systems.  John's presentation is entitled "Pump Calculations: Beyond Theory".  He will be discussing "real world" pump calculations and will make his presentation even more interesting by expanding the pump calculations beyond theory.  This will be a very informative and entertaining presentation so mark it down on your calendar today and be sure to RSVP so you'll be sure to have a seat.

 

This will be our last month to sign-up for the "Attendance Has It's Rewards" contest.  The contest winner will be given the opportunity to attend the National Convention and EPE Show in Long Beach this coming October as an Orange County Delegate.  The Delegate's responsibilities include attending the business meetings, voting for the next National Board of Directors, and By-Law Amendments just to name a few.  It's a great experience that every member should have.  The contest is open to any Orange County member except student members.

ASPE OC July Technical Meeting Minutes

 

 

On July 30, 2008 the ASPE OC Technical meeting commenced at 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Ana Holiday Inn Atrium. Saum Nour led the Pledge of Allegiance. The guests were introduced, followed by introduction of members.

 

The past Presidents John Deunay and Saum Nour were recognized

 

The board is asking the members for volunteers to help out with the Convention Committee to

Work the hospitality room, main host area, and delegate area. Available times are 7:00am to 6:00pm.

 

“Attendance Has Its Rewards” contest winner will be given the opportunity to attend the National Convention and EPE show in Long Beach this coming October as an Orange delegate. The Delegate’s responsibilities include attending the business meetings, voting for the next National Board of Directors, and By-Law Amendments. The Chapter will pay for convention registration, three night hotel. The contest is open to any Orange County member except student members.

 

Felor introduced the Guest speaker Ms. Pamela Erb; she is with Nibco Valves.

The Technical Seminar concluded at 7:45 p.m. and dinner was served.

 

At 8:00 p.m., Felor Rezayat presented the speaker with Appreciation Certificate.

 

At 8:10 p.m., Dick Knapp levied fines.

 

Teresa Ventresco presented the table top with Nibco

 

The raffle of prizes began at 8:15 p.m. and the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
