I had filled out my fines list and was prepared to
administer my duties until Jeff changed the schedule. I guess this meeting was a first for me
being speechless, dazed, and surprised.
After 44 years of attending the various ASPE chapter meetings and
seeing the great additions that have taken place, it makes one proud to be
able to have been part of seeing the Orange County Chapter grow.
I don't
think that there has ever been a meeting that hasn't been an educational
learning curve and solutions that have solved more than one problem. I know that our industry has benefited by
bringing the engineer, contractor and manufacturer together at our meetings
as we are all part of one industry and each adds to this education.
I can
only thank the chapter for the special gift, cake and plaque, which I'll
keep close to remind me of the great family of friends I have.
