PRESIDENTS MESSAGE October 2008 |

By the time you read this, the National
Convention will have ended. I can tell
you, as a member of the Host Committee, that a lot of work has gone into this
Convention. I’d like to thank Peter
Kraut for taking on the responsibility of Host Committee Chair, as well as
the efforts of Rod Koepke, Vivian Enriquez, April Trafton, and Kook Dean as Committee Members. Everyone worked very hard to put the
Delegate Bags and Spouse Bags together and we are very pleased with our
accomplishments, we hope that the Delegates and registered spouses are as
well. This has been a very exciting year for our
Chapter, we exceeded the 100-member mark for the first time in our short
history. Our VP Membership, Alex
Jimenez with JDL Systems, has done a fantastic job in recruiting new members
and retaining current members. Alex
deserves a big “Congratulations” for his accomplishments. As a reminder, the Orange County Chapter
does not hold meetings in the months of November and December. We’ll see you all again on January 28, 2009! Thank you for your support of the ASPE
Orange County Chapter. You are
responsible for making this such a successful Chapter. |
